2010 Tweetsie Railroad Media Policy
We welcome and encourage visits to Tweetsie Railroad by members of the media, and want to do everything possible to ensure you have an enjoyable stay at North Carolina's first theme park.
We are aware that some media outlets have adopted policies prohibiting staff from accepting complimentary tickets. However, if your company does allow such tickets, we will be pleased to issue a full admission ticket to any reporter or photographer working on a story. If you would like complimentary tickets, please email or fax your request to Tweetsie Railroad (contact information provided below) at least three days prior to your scheduled visit. The request should be made on your company's letterhead and contain your signature or be sent through your business email account.
Your ticket will be held at the ticket office at the Tweetsie entrance. Please bring a business card and a photo ID when you come to claim your ticket.
We also enjoy "just for fun" visits to Tweetsie by our friends in the media. But due to the tremendous number of requests, we must limit complimentary tickets to the following categories:
Newspapers - Publishers, Editors, Reporters, Photographers
Radio Stations - Owner, General Manager, News Director, Program Directors, News Reporters, On-Air Personnel
Television Stations - Owner, General Manager, Program Director, Reporters, Photographers, On-Air Personnel, Producers
For these visits, we will provide two complimentary tickets for one visit to Tweetsie any Sunday through Friday from April 30 to October 31, 2010, except during our Day Out With Thomas™ event and the Ghost Train® Halloween Festival.
We appreciate your interest in Tweetsie Railroad, and will do everything possible to be of assistance.
